Game of the day here for me, as the African champions, Morocco, are set to face off with the Netherlands in what has become a heavyweight clash in the modern landscape of international football.
The Netherlands, donning their famous bright orange kit, are still one of the better sides in the world and no doubt have some talent at their disposal, but it would be fair to say their best crop of players was likely a couple of years back.
For Morocco, they seem to be coming into their golden age on the international stage with a relentless nature that they play with, coupled with the quality of technicians they boast around the park, like Ismael Saibari and Ayyoub Bouaddi, who have been nothing short of revelations at this World Cup.
To wrap this up, I think Morocco have enough in the tank to really dominate this Netherlands side and seriously give them a run for their money when it comes to qualification. The question comes down to whether the Netherlands will be able to match the intensity Morocco are going to come at them with, and if you are to ask me that right now, my answer would be no. That is why I see Morocco progressing through to the Round of 16.
