Through this stage of the tournament, you would assume both sides have been happy with not only their results to this point, but also the performances that have got them here.
For Norway in particular, this tournament has been a long time coming, and it would seem their on-pitch product is finally matching up with the quality of talent they have on paper. It’s not only the talent that Norway possess, but the manner in which they go about their business that makes them an entertaining watch, as they promote a very attacking brand of football that, if executed correctly, can do serious damage to any team in the world.
Ivory Coast will hope Norway don’t fire at the top of their game, because if they do, I don’t see them keeping up. However, if Norway do let it slip, this Ivory Coast side are dangerous on the counter and have some serious talent in the attacking third that could answer the bell when it comes time to do so.
