Germany vs Paraguay certainly isn’t some blockbuster clash, as it has one of the historic European powerhouses taking on a South American side who haven’t been a dominant nation on the international stage, but it will still be worth keeping an eye on nonetheless.
At the World Cup up until now, Germany have been relatively efficient in front of goal and have looked better than they have in the past couple of editions of the tournament. They also look poised to make a deep run.
Paraguay, on the other hand, haven’t had smooth sailing to this point in North America, but they will pose a threat to Germany with their tenacity and ability to be lethal on the break with the likes of Julio Enciso up top.
With that said, I still think Germany will be the side progressing through to the next round and could potentially do it rather comfortably.
