This Weeks Early Bird Betting Value

This Weeks Early Bird Betting Value

The early bird betting value series is back and better than ever, as we are going to pick a couple of long range bets that might have some extra value by being placed a few days prior to the games, rather than having tips from the night before.

Last time we did this, it was not a bad return, so let’s hope we can find another couple of winners later this week.

Paris Saint-Germain vs Newcastle United | Thursday, 9 AM
PSG To Win @ $1.50

Now I know these are not crazy high odds for this one, but I have a feeling that the deeper we get into the week, the more they might start to fall. In this matchup, we take a trip to Paris as the biggest club in France, PSG, host Newcastle in the eighth matchweek of this season’s Champions League.

For PSG, they continue to be one of the best teams in Europe after a season where they won just about every trophy available. For Newcastle, after finding a bit of league form, they come into this one off a disappointing loss to Aston Villa at home.

Regardless of form though, PSG would always enter this one as favourites, especially with Newcastle having to make the trip to face them. PSG have so much talent all over the park that, generally speaking, it can be overwhelming for the majority of teams, and I think that could be the case this week for Newcastle, as I am not quite sure they have what it takes to upset the French super club at home.

Australian Open 2026 Men’s Outright | Sunday, 10 PM
Carlos Alcaraz @ $2.40

When discussing the landscape of modern men’s tennis, there is a new big two in town, with Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz dominating the scene, especially when it comes to the four majors each year over the past two seasons.

As they are both the number one and two seeds, there is a real opportunity for them to meet in the final of the Australian Open, as long as they both continue to handle their business like they have done the majority of the time in recent memory.

From there, it really comes down to who you like more in this situation, as from a talent standpoint there is almost nothing between them. Historically, the Italian Sinner has been the more dominant of the two on hard court surfaces, with a 94 percent win rate over the past two years in those conditions. Alcaraz tends to specialise more on clay and grass courts, but he is still a superb talent on hard courts as well.

For me, I think the best value between the two this week is with Alcaraz, as he is paying slightly higher odds and there really is not much separating either of them.

Manchester United vs Fulham FC | Monday, 3 AM
Manchester United To Win @ $1.60

After firing Ruben Amorim and appointing Michael Carrick as manager, Manchester United have been rolling, with a derby win over City followed by a 3–2 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates.

The question surrounding the Red Devils will be whether this is a manager bounce from having a club legend in the ears of the players, or if this is a truly sustainable level of play they can maintain after being one of the most inconsistent teams in the Premier League over the past 18 months.

For me, I am not certain on that answer, simply because I could talk myself into either side regarding United, as they are such a volatile club right now. However, this matchweek in the Premier League they take on Fulham, and whether this form is indeed just a bounce from bringing Carrick in as manager, I don’t think Fulham will be the team to undo that.
