Egypt, on the other hand, were slow starters in this World Cup and looked to be in all kinds of trouble at half-time during the All Whites game, until their superstar and greatest-ever player, Mo Salah, saved the day.
When it comes to these big occasions, teams like Egypt and Australia tend to need one or two players to get the job done. For me, that ability resides with Egypt in this clash, with the likes of Salah and Omar Marmoush potentially being the difference against this Australian side, especially if the Socceroos can’t create chances.
