Join Archie Wilson as he breaks down the final Test of the Greatest Rivalry Tour.
The final leg of rugby’s greatest rivalry takes place at the famous M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland.
The obvious first difference in this clash is that it is being played at a neutral site, rather than the Springboks having home advantage.
If you are the AB, you will be very excited about that prospect. Down 2-1 in the series, they will be ready to take any leg-up heading into the deciding Test match.
Dave Rennie has opted for changes in this Test, with the headline one, of course, being Richie Mo’unga making his first All Blacks Test start since the RWC final in 2023. The hope for ABs fans is that Mo’unga can bring some creativity as the first receiver, which has been lacking in recent weeks, and perhaps provide a higher level of execution around the park.
Regardless of the changes, I feel this game will follow a similar script to the past few matches, with the 80 minutes being decided by a couple of moments, given how evenly matched these units are.
For me, there is value in the either-side-by-7.5 market and, of course, why not a Will Jordan try on his favoured right wing?
