Premier League Best Bets | Match Week 11

Premier League Best Bets | Match Week 11

Man City, Arsenal and Aston Villa all copped L’s last weekend, and if you had a multi with the three of them going down you’d be sitting pretty.

Heading into week 11, Liverpool sit perched at the top with City in second and Forest in third! Many thanks to Woodsy.

Compared to recent times, it’s feeling like any side could grab three points on their day, except for Wolves and Ipswich Town who after 10 fixtures are still yet to record a win.

Are we going to see more movement in the table this week before we head into another two week break? Or are the top two starting to run away from the rest of the pack already?

Brentford
vs
Bournemouth
4:00am, Sunday | Gtech Community Stadium, Brentford
Brentford to Win | $2.35

Bournemouth have claimed two big scalps in three weeks knocking off Man City and Arsenal, the common denominator… both these wins came at home.

Away from home the Cherries have struggled, they are winless in their last three away games.

Meanwhile, Brentford have been very good at home, all of their points have come from their home fixtures. Last time these two sides met it ended in 2-2 draw, this time out I’m backing the Bees to get the job done in front of a home crowd.

West Ham
vs
Everton
4:00am, Sunday | London Stadium, London
West Ham to Win | $2.05

Both of these sides are hanging out for a win leading into the international break. The Hammers have been good at home but are currently trading wins for losses.

The good news for the fans, they lost last week so if the trend continues, they’re in for a win here.

Everton just lost to one of the worst teams in the league.

Crystal Palace
vs
Fulham
4:00am, Saturday | Selhurst Park, London
Under 2.5 Total Goals | $1.83

Fulham scored twice late to secure a comeback win over Brentford, ending their three game winless streak.

It’s tough to separate the two whenever these sides face off, four of their last five meetings have ended with them sharing the points. Of those four draws, two have ended without a goal.

Although the draw seems likely here, I’m more inclined to lean towards the under 2.5 goals for this fixture.

Wolves
vs
Southampton
4:00am, Sunday | Molineux Stadium, Wolverhampton
Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Total Goals | $1.95

The winless Wolves are favoured at home over Southampton who only managed their first win of the campaign thanks to a late goal against Everton.

If you look at the history of this fixture you’ll see Wolves have had the upper hand in their past five meetings. The last time Southampton travelled to Molineux and won was 2007.

Hard to argue with history here, but Wolves haven’t given me any reason to believe they can win a football game.

Brighton
vs
Man City
6:30am, Sunday | American Express Stadium, Falmer
Man City to Win | $1.75

Across all competitions Man City have now lost three on the trot, something that hasn’t happened since 2018!

Bowing out of the EFL Cup, their first league loss and a disappointing 4-1 loss to Sporting FC in the Champions League has been a tough run for the Citizens who have picked up some injuries along the way.

Brighton aren’t looking too flash either who are winless through their last three games across all competitions.

Man City will be hoping to get back on track with a fixture they have dominated in the past. I’m seeing a tight one but I’d back City to edge it out.

Liverpool
vs
Aston Villa
9:00am, Sunday | Anfield, Liverpool
Liverpool & Over 2.5 Total Goals | $1.91

Arne Slot will be loving life if his side can head into the break in the top spot. The Reds have been lights out at Anfield this year with Mo Salah leading the charge.

Villa are struggling to adjust to the hectic schedule and it’s fair to say they’ll be looking forward to the two week break. After being battered 4-1 by Spurs last week, they’ve just gone and lost in their mid-week CL fixture as well.

Now they have to travel to Anfield to take on the league leaders, a team they have not beaten in their last eight meetings.

Nott’m Forest
vs
Newcastle
3:00am, Monday | The City Ground, Nottingham
Under 2.5 Total Goals | $1.85

Chris Wood has been on fire and a huge part of why they’re sitting in third spot after 10 weeks. The Trees have been solid in defence and have been taking their chances when they come their way.

The Magpies on the other hand are sitting in the bottom half, but have had a recent run of form beating Chelsea and Arsenal in their last few games.

I see this being very tightly contested, I’d love to see the Nottingham get up here but I’ll back the under 2.5 goals.

Spurs
vs
Ipswich
3:00am, Monday | Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London
Tottenham Hotspur & Both Teams to Score | $2.25

The biggest favourites of the week, Spurs hosting Ipswich Town. It would be so Spurs like to drop points at home to the Tractor Boys or even hand them their first win.

However, Spurs have been good at home winning three in a row but not without conceding goals.

Ipswich have been getting themselves into winning positions but haven’t been able to hold on. In saying that, they have scored in four of their five away matches this season.

I’m with Spurs to win but not without conceding a goal to the Tractor Boys.

Man United
vs
Leicester
3:00am, Monday | Old Trafford, Manchester
Man United to Win & Both Teams to Score | $2.50

The Ruud van Nistelrooy era comes to a close this weekend. It will be his final game in charge before Ruben Amorim steps in to take the reins.

In his first game in charge, United beat Leicester 5-2, now he’ll face them again for his last game and no doubt will be expecting a similar result from his men.

Leicester have only managed two wins so far despite weaker schedule and it doesn’t get any easier for them either.

I’ve got United to take care of business this week.

Chelsea
vs
Arsenal
5:30am, Monday | Stamford Bridge, London
Arsenal to Win | $2.45

Wowee! Chelsea just put 8 past NOAH in their conference league fixture. That’s some serious confidence they should be taking into this week’s fixture, hosting the Gunners at Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal are desperate to break their winless streak and they need to if they want to stay in the title race. They haven’t had the best record away from home this year but have gotten the better of Chelsea in recent history.

If Martin Odegaard comes back for Arsenal then they’d like their chances at three points.

Both these teams sit level on 18 points but I’m backing Arsenal to turn things up this weekend and head into the break comfortably in the top four.
