Icebath won the first edition and paid $5.50, before Promise of Success caused a big upset in 2022 when winning at $26. That was a huge upset considering the class in the field, but she wasn’t the only winner to win paying $26.
Former New Zealand mare Belclare won in 2024 at $26, before Stefi Magnetica won last year as one of the favourites.
