We have The Invitation tips and predictions for the Group 2 1400m race at Randwick on Saturday.
The Invitation odds have Lazzura favoured to win, but there are some well-backed runners in the market, so it’s an even contest.
Gerringong is worth putting on top with The Invitation predictions following an eye-catching victory to kick off her spring preparation.
The Chris & Corey Munce-trained 5YO mare comes into this feature off a tough first-up win in the Group 3 The Nivision at Rosehill. She has proven top-tier credentials over 1400m, having run a close second in this race last year.
Having experience in this race is enough to take her close, and with Nash Rawiller riding well this season, that adds to our confidence. There has been plenty of market confidence, and she could firm into favouritism on race day.
There is value with the $4 odds, and the mare could make it back-to-back victories to start her spring campaign, and she could go to another level on Saturday.

Idle Flyer comes into this race offering punters good value, and we’re hoping that she can get back to her best form.
While she unplaced last start in the Group 1 Epsom Handicap on a slow track, that was against top company, and she wasn’t suited to those conditions. Dropping back to fillies and mares set-weights conditions suits her far better, as does returning to her preferred 1400m distance.
She boasts 8 career wins and a stellar record at Royal Randwick, so there are many positives. She is worth including in The Invitation tips at the current price. She’ll sit handy to the speed and look to run them into the ground, so take the $8.50 odds before late money comes for her.

Tuileries is worth including in The Invitation picks at great double-digit odds.
The Peter Snowden-trained mare put the writing on the wall first-up when finishing an excellent fourth in the Group 3 The Nivision over 1200m, beaten just half a length after charging late through tight gaps.
She steps up to 1400m second-up, where she is a past winner, and she gets the services of jockey Zac Lloyd. He’ll need to produce a good ride from a wide draw, but she has a fine turn-of-foot on her day.
Some good judges have confidently backed her to win, so there is solid market support despite the double-figure odds.

Punters get value odds with our The Invitation SRM, which includes our three selected runners.
We have Gerringong Top 2, Idle Flyer Top 4, and Tuileries Top 5, which pays $15.00 for our three-runner SRM.
It’s an open betting field, so punters get value odds for most runners in the field. Our three runners are all over the odds, so we’re including them in same race multi bets for a big collect.
