Join Archie Wilson as he previews the Week 6 of the 2026/27 NFL season.
Two teams who won’t be over the moon with their start to the season but no doubt still have the talent to get on a run in the middle portion of the campaign and make some serious noise against any team.
The big story line for the defending champs has been the play of their quarterback Sam Darnold who as we know has these moments where he hits factory reset to become the Jet version of himself.
If he can sort our his play I have a feeling that the rest of the Seahawks ecosystem can get them over the line in this big time TNF clash.
Tips
Best: Seattle Seahawks To Win @ $1.70
Anytime Touchdown Scorer: Jaxon Smith-Njigba Anytime Touchdown Scorer $2.10
SGM: Seattle Seahawks To Win, Jaxon Smith-Njigba ATS and Jaxon Smith-Njigba 90+ Receiving Yards @ $3.88
Too bad for us Kiwis that this game is at 2.30 am, because it might just be the best game on the slate. The Jaguars, one of the best teams in the league this year, are taking on a side I had down as an outside chance to contend for the Super Bowl.
The Texans have got off to a horrible start, but the most promising thing about them is that C.J. Stroud looks a lot closer to his rookie self than he has in the past two seasons.
Another exciting storyline is that Stroud will reunite with his former Ohio State teammate, Marvin Harrison Jr. Who knows, maybe in their first game back together, the two players might create some splash plays.
Tips
Best: C.J. Stroud 250+ Passing Yards @ $1.70
Anytime Touchdown Scorer: Marvin Harrison @ $5.00
SGM: C.J. Stroud 250+ Passing Yards, Marvin Harrison ATS and Trevor Lawrence 225+ Passing Yards @ $14.
A fun game here, with the Falcons boasting one of the most exciting offensive units in the league and perhaps the NFL’s best offensive weapon, Bijan Robinson. The Bears have been able to tread water without franchise quarterback Caleb Williams, but all signs point to him being back for this weekend’s game.
That is where I land with this game, as I feel the Bears are one of the best sides in the competition. If Williams is firing from the jump, I can see them getting back to winning ways.
Tips
Best: Chicago Bears To Win @ $1.83
Anytime Touchdown Scorer: Colston Loveland @ $3.05
SGM: Chicago Bears To Win, Colston Loveland ATS and Bijan Robinson ATS @ $6.7
The Raiders and Bills face off in an intriguing game between one of the best sides in the NFL, the Bills, and the Raiders, who looked like a surprise package through the first four weeks of the season but may have had a reality check last time out.
The Raiders will host Josh Allen and the Bills in what is a real litmus test for the home side, giving them a chance to find out what kind of team they are this season.
When picking the game, though, my confidence lies with the Bills because of the man they have under centre. I feel Allen will be able to will his team to a win in Sin City.
Tips
Best: Buffalo Bills (-4.5) @ $1.90
Anytime Touchdown Scorer: Brock Bowers @ $2.90
SGM: Buffalo Bills (-4.5), Brock Bowers ATS and Josh Allen ATS @ $6.06
A battle of the offences this weekend on Sunday Night Football, with some of the most quarterback-reliant teams in the NFL going head to head in prime time football.
For the Cowboys, Dak Prescott has been playing some of the best ball of any signal-caller in the league, but outside of his pass-catchers, the team just hasn’t clicked for some bizarre reason.
On the other side, the Packers might have found their mojo last week against the Bears, with Jordan Love lighting it up at Lambeau Field. They will hope to do the same this weekend against the Cowboys.
Tips
Best: George Pickens 70+ Receiving Yards @ $1.85
Anytime Touchdown Scorer: George Pickens @ $1.85
SGM: George Pickens 70+ Receiving Yards, George Pickens ATS and Tucker Kraft 50+ Receiving Yards @ $6.53
Monday Night Football once again heads to the Sunshine State, with the San Francisco 49ers hosting the Commanders in what should be an interesting encounter between the best team in football and a Commanders side that has been in the news cycle for all the wrong reasons.
I expect a player of Jayden Daniels’ calibre to bounce back from that kind of situation, which has been described as one of the worst clock-management moments in recent NFL history. I think Daniels will bounce back in prime time and could help his team put some points on the board against the 49ers.
Tips
Best: Over 50.5 Total Points @ $1.88
Anytime Touchdown Scorer: Jayden Daniels @ $3.75
SGM: Buffalo Bills (+3.5), Jayden Daniels ATS and Mike Evans ATS @ $9.70
