We have Caulfield Guineas tips and predictions for the Group 1 1600m race at Caulfield on Saturday.
Caulfield Guineas odds have Warwoven and Blind Raise favoured to win, and they look like the obvious quinella.
Warwoven is the obvious horse to beat after producing a huge performance in the Golden Rose.
He has won his last two starts, including the Group 1 Golden Rose over 1400m, where he powered away from his rivals to score by three lengths. That is easily the strongest form line heading into Saturday’s race.
The big question is whether he can reproduce that performance at Caulfield and handle the rise to 1600m. His camp is confident the mile won’t be an issue, and Rachel King should be able to put him into a prominent position from barrier 6.
He’s deservedly favourite and could prove too good for them, so he’s our top pick with Caulfield Guineas predictions.

Blind Raise is our next best bet in the Caulfield Guineas, with the 3YO coming into this race with excellent form.
He has won both starts this preparation, including a dominant 2.75-length victory in the Caulfield Guineas Prelude over 1400m. He travelled beautifully throughout before putting the race beyond doubt in the straight.
The step up to 1600m looks ideal, and barrier two is another major positive. Blake Shinn should be able to settle just behind the speed and get every opportunity to produce his best work at the business end.
Warwoven brings the strongest form into the race, but Blind Raise gets a much more favourable map and is still improving. At around $3.60, we’re happy to take the price and include him in win bets.

Unit Five is the runner we want to have something on at a big price.
He has drawn barrier 1, which could be a major advantage if Thomas Stockdale can save ground and find the right passage through the field.
He finished second in the Group 3 McNeil Stakes at Caulfield first-up before finishing seventh in the Exford Plate at Flemington. That latest run doesn’t look good on paper, but he was only beaten 2.5 lengths and was racing over 1400m. The 1600m could bring out improvement, and the inside draw gives him every chance to get a soft run.
He’s going to need to improve significantly to beat Warwoven and Blind Raise, but $21 is big enough to find out. Unit Five is our best roughie and could sneak into the finish with the right run.

Punters get value odds with our Caulfield Guineas SRM, which includes our three selected runners.
We have Warwoven Top 2, Blind Raise Top 2, and Unit Five Top 4, which pays $12.00 for our three-runner SRM.
We have Warwoven and Blind Raise running the quinella, which will be a popular bet. Unit Five adds value as a first four chance, so include him to boost payouts.
