Betcha has Winx Stakes tips and predictions for the Group 1 feature race out of Randwick this Saturday.
Winx Stakes odds have Autumn Glow and Sheza Alibi as the favouries, and they’re likely to have the race between themselves.
Autumn Glow stands out as the one to beat when it comes to our Winx Stakes tips. The classy 5YO mare still had plenty of admirers after her autumn defeat, and it was only the distance that found her out.
At $1.90, punters will have to muscle up and take the shorts, but the price looks justified considering her talent. Barrier 3 is another positive, and it should allow her to settle into an ideal position, giving her the edge over Sheza Alibi in our race assessment.
With James McDonald aboard, Autumn Glow should enjoy the right run throughout before unleashing her finishing speed and charging over the top of her rivals late. The current odds could firm on race day, with many multi bets ending on her.

Connections of Sheza Alibi have plenty to look forward to this season, with the talented 4YO shaping as the clear danger to the favourite.
Her autumn campaign was nothing short of outstanding, producing three wins from three starts. With that preparation under her belt, she should return to the spring carnival stronger and more mature, and her ceiling is extremely high.
The main reason we have her rated just behind Autumn Glow is her barrier draw and her age. Having only recently turned four, she may still have some physical development ahead of her, while the inside draw could leave her needing the race to unfold perfectly.
We wouldn’t put winning the Winx Stakes past her, and she should beat every other runner home. Her Top 2 odds are $1.75, which is an excellent price at Betcha.

Beiwacht is a big upset danger to the favourites. He is a quality 4YO, who comes off a big Group 1 win at Randwick over 1400m in the autumn.
There is nothing wrong with his form, and being unbeaten over 1400m is another positive. He also has a size advantage over the mares, and his size shouldn’t be overlooked in a race where many mares are running.
He’ll win a Group 1 race this season, and it could come in the opener. He is a lovely type with a stud career awaiting, and he’s a good first-four pick.

Punters get value odds with our Winx Stakes SRM, which includes our three selected runners.
We have Autumn Glow To Win, Sheza Alibi Top 2, and Beiwacht Top 4, which pays $9.50 at Betcha. It’s a good price for the same-race multi, with the market narrowed to two favourites.
Punters get $2.60 for Beiwacht to finish in the Top 4, which is a lovely price, and that’s where the value resides in our SRM.
