Betcha has Toy Show Quality tips and predictions for the Group 3 1100m race at Randwick on Saturday, which features a quality field of mares
Toy Show Quality odds have Apocalyptic as the $2.25 favourite, and she should prove tough to beat.
It’s hard to find too many reasons to knock this mare going into Saturday. She’s got a brilliant fresh record, having finished in the top two in all three first-up runs, and Randwick is clearly a track where she knows how to get the job done.
Her six starts at the venue have produced three wins and two minor placings, which is about as good as it gets. She’s also looked ready to fire in her trials, with her latest effort particularly catching the eye as she got the better of Chilly Girl and Headwall.
Tommy Berry has been riding in good form to start the season, so the booking certainly doesn’t hurt her chances. The $2.25 with Betcha looks fair enough to us, and given she’s already banked more than $1.1 million, there’s no doubting she has the class for this level.

If anyone is going to make the favourite work for it, we think Savvy Hallie could be the mare to do it. She’s got enough upside to make this interesting and looks ready to run a big race first-up.
The 4YO daughter of Hellbent has already shown she can win at this level, and a strong return at Randwick is likely.
She got past Apocalyptic by just under a length in February, then backed that up with a second-place finish behind Group 1 winner Tempted. That form has run through The Everest, so it’s a good form guide.
The $3.70 is a value price with Betcha, and we’re not leaving her out of our Toy Show Quality predictions.

Stardom probably isn’t the horse we’d be backing to spring a surprise and win the Toy Show Quality, but she’s worth having in first-four picks.
She finished fourth at Doomben last time out, so there’s a bit of improvement required if she’s going to mix it with the leading chances, but she is a genuine lightweight chance from the Waterhouse/Bott stable.
She’s also had two solid trial placings since her last run, suggesting she’s in good shape heading into this. If she gets the right run in transit, she could easily sneak into the placings.
She’s not our winning pick, but the current odds make Stardom a sensible first-four and same-race multi bet inclusion.

Punters get value odds with our Toy Show Quality SRM, which includes our three selected runners.
We have Apocalyptic Top 2, Savvy Hallie Top 2, and Stardom Top 4, which pays $7.75 at Betcha. Considering the size of the field, our SRM is worth taking, in what could be a tactical affair over the sprinting distance.
