World Cup Best Bets | Round of 16: Brazil v Norway

Charlie Wilson shares his picks and plays for the Round of 16 clash between Brazil and Norway.

Norway have been a bit of a dark horse so far this tournament and will no doubt be a bit sticky for Brazil.

Still though, Carlo Ancelotti’s men are undisputed favourites for the game considering the depth and quality of their roster, and an impressive portfolio of knockout experience at major tournaments.

There are a couple of superstars to watch, and we’ve been seeing all the main men step up for their countries. Messi, Mbappe and Kane, so now it’s Haaland and Vini Junior’s time to shine.

Norway have failed to keep a clean sheet so far and have conceded multiple goals to both Senegal and France. Given both players are in top form along with the likes of Messi and Mbappe, these superstars look to be spurring each other on for more.

In terms of a result, Brazil weren’t overly convincing against Japan, and Haaland saved Norway late against Ivory Coast.

This could be another tight one, and the result in my mind could go either way… I’m going to steer clear and pick both teams to score and over 2.5 goals inside the 90 minutes.

Tips

Best Bet: Both Teams To Score & Over 2.5 Goals @ $2.05

Best Goalscorer: Matheus Cunha @ $2.70

Value: Erling Haaland & Vinicius Junior Both to Score (Betcha Boost) $6.50
