The Crusaders got themselves underway off the right foot in their new home stadium. They dominated from set piece and were able to control the game but the stand out was Leicester Fainga’anuku wearing the #7 jersey.
The Hurricanes pack has had a bit of a reshuffle and they should be good enough to win infront of a home crowd however the +12.5 is too high for me to confidently back considering it is the Crusaders.

For the Drua, there were a few crucial moments in last week’s loss to the Chiefs. Namely Ilaisa Droasese’s ambitious attempt to get out of his own goal line with a grubber. But a few tries in succession saw the score get out of hand.
They’ll need to be more clinical this week against the Highlanders who were far from their best in their win over Moana Pasifika last weekend.
Being at home, this is a game the Drua will certainly believe they can win. If this game wasn’t at home, you’d almost certainly see those odds flip.
However, the Drua are down some man power while the ‘Landers have bolstered their starting XV.
As underdogs, I think the Highlanders are a great play but they’ll need to make a huge improvement on last weeks performance.

Moana did show some fight in their loss to the Highlanders but this will be a different test for them.
The Blues edged out a golden point win over the Reds. They deserved the win and controlled the key moments.
This could turn ugly for Moana Pasifika if they let the Blues control the game from start to finish.
