United have been one of the form teams in the Premier League, with some of their players describing their turnaround under Michael Carrick as being so effective because he carries the DNA of the club with him, and they are certainly responding to that.
This weekend they will host Leeds in a battle that will no doubt be feisty, but with about three weeks’ rest, United should not only have a major talent advantage, but also a form advantage and a significant rest advantage, given Leeds were playing last weekend in the FA Cup.
I don’t think it will be a walkover, but this United team seems to keep finding ways to win games, and I would expect that trend to continue.

Brighton have been in decent form recently, and much of that coincides with their veteran striker Danny Welbeck continuing to show that having a wealth of experience in the Premier League is certainly important when it comes to scoring goals.
Welbeck has well and truly become the focal point of the Brighton attack, and in a game against Burnley where his side should come out on top, it would not be a surprise to see his name on the scoresheet.

In a three-year period where nothing has been consistent for the club from south-west London, one thing they have been able to do is string together results with their backs against the wall in the run-in.
This weekend against City is no different. Coming off some embarrassing losses to sides like Everton, the Blues will be looking to take a step forward and win against one of the other premier clubs in English football in a high-stakes battle with Manchester City.
When looking at the two sides, there is no denying that both haven’t been up to their expected quality, and that might just be enough for Chelsea to benefit. There is no doubt they have the talent to win these games, it just needs to click, so why not this weekend?

Rounding out with our traditional SGM, we have a very important clash between Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa, which could have major ramifications for plenty of teams across the league.
Starting with the first leg of the multi, I am relying on the best player on the park, Morgan Rogers, to impact the game at a high level by getting on the ball plenty in dangerous positions, allowing him to create chances in the final third. This should also see him get some shots away, which we know he is not afraid to do.
Next up, we go to Forest’s talisman Morgan Gibbs-White, who has started to look like the player we saw at the back end of last year, when he was heavily linked with a move away from the club to advance his career. He has been creating and scoring at a much higher rate towards the back end of the season, and seeing him generate some G/A would not be a surprise.
Closing this one out, I have Forest stealing a result in some form or fashion. With both sides having Europa League action on Friday, there could be some fatigue in play, and with the pressure Villa will be under to perform, which has been their Achilles heel in recent times, it could result in a win for the home side.
