It is well and truly go time for the Premier League, as the majority of teams only have eight games left on the schedule and there is so much to fight for across all areas of the standings.
As a fan of the league, this is a very intriguing time, and after diving into each match up, we once again have our best bets and preview for matchweek 31.

Liverpool are starting to heat up as the season wears on, and Arne Slot seems to be getting back to basics rather than trying to manage too far outside the box, which might have been one of the biggest issues he has had in his sophomore season as Liverpool gaffer.
For Brighton, they have also been on a decent trajectory down the stretch of the season and will be looking to add another Premier League win, having picked up three in their last five.
For Liverpool, if they can build a wave of momentum for the back end of the year, it will be propelled off the back of their huge midweek win against Galatasaray, where they showed all the class and flair they were hyped to have in the pre season.
With that feel good confidence in the group from that midweek clash, I have them taking it out against Brighton come Sunday morning.
Best Anytime Goalscorer

One of the best signings of the summer is Brentford striker Igor Thiago, who has been a one man wrecking ball at the top of the Bees’ attack this season.
Being the second leading goal scorer on a side that is not necessarily considered one of the powerhouses of the league is one of the more remarkable goal scoring campaigns in recent memory.
He is coming up against a Leeds side who have not been in the greatest form, and Thiago will look to get as many shots off as possible in this one and could certainly find the back of the net once again.

Two bad teams are going at it this weekend in North London as Spurs host fellow relegation battlers Forest in what could be a massive game for both clubs and the complexion of the remainder of their seasons.
Tottenham got their first point under interim manager Igor Tudor last time out against Liverpool at Anfield, which is likely the only reason he is still leading the side entering this weekend’s clash.
The trouble is, while they got that very solid result, you could make the case for Spurs that it was a one off performance or that they were playing up to the level of their opposition. This weekend, though, they are heavy favourites and are playing a side that could certainly steal a goal or two and undo all their hard work from last weekend.

If Chelsea are going to turn their season around, it is going to be this weekend against Everton in their first visit to Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Everton themselves are in fine form and will be looking to make it three wins from their last four, but if this Chelsea group has any ticker, they will ensure they get this one over the line.
Starting with their out of form superstar, Cole Palmer really needs to rediscover last season’s form if Chelsea are to have a chance, and a good portion of that would come from him backing himself more often. I am sure the coaching staff are echoing those same thoughts. If he applies himself a bit more, I think Palmer will be looking to get on the score sheet and will be happy to get a few shots away.
One guy who certainly has not lacked form is their striker Joao Pedro, who has likely played himself into a starting position for Brazil come World Cup time. For Chelsea to win this one, they would be very smart to let everything flow through Pedro and get him on the ball in dangerous situations. If he is found in those spaces, there should be a lot of confidence in him to produce some kind of end product.
Then to tie up the multi, as mentioned, three points is a must for Chelsea in this one, and purely out of desperation, I expect them to get the job done on the road.
- Cole Palmer 2+ Shots @ $1.28
- Joao Pedro To Score Or Assist @ $1.88
