A new week means not only a fresh opportunity for each Premier League side to add three points to their table tally, but also another chance for us to look towards the matchweek and snag some value from our favourite bets once again.
Outside of that I’m not sure there’s much else to say, so let’s just get stuck in.

We have just seen El Clásico take place over in Spain, so why not have a look at the English version of that great rivalry, the Manchester derby. From their foundations, these two sides could not be more different, aside from the city they reside in. Manchester City are a modern-day super club, built on wealthy ownership with big ambitions and a willingness to spend. Manchester United, on the other hand, are an old-school historic club who, despite lacking recent success, remain one of the largest clubs in the world and clearly carry a chip on their shoulder regarding recent events.
When discussing this match-up, there is plenty to unpack, starting with the unrest at Manchester United. They have now sacked Rúben Amorim and only just appointed Michael Carrick as interim manager. As you would expect, that kind of upheaval has had major on-pitch effects, leaving them well below the standards the club sets.
City, meanwhile, look better this year but have still had a few blips on the radar. One thing I do know about this Pep Guardiola-led side is that when they smell blood in the water, they often strike. With that being the case, I am backing them this week to make the trip across town and return to their HQ with three more points.
Best Anytime To Score Or Assist Bet

Moving into our only solo player bet for the week, I am looking towards a player who has been in some scorching hot form of late. That player is Fulham’s Harry Wilson, who has become the star of the show at Craven Cottage and is allowing the fans to believe once again.
Now, I am not saying Harry Wilson is some generational midfield talent, because he is not quite that, but the way he has been playing recently is certainly something to keep an eye on.
This season, Wilson has become the talisman for Fulham in the league, which is backed up by the fact he has scored seven goals and added four assists through 21 games, a return that is certainly nothing to scoff at. This week, I have him either scoring or setting up a goal for the third straight week of Premier League football, against a Leeds side who, while playing decent football, are certainly not blue chip opposition.
Best Underdog Bet

Chelsea have been a side that has been difficult to get a pulse on, with all of the changes going on around the club, along with absentees from the playing squad through illness and injury. This weekend, after going nine straight games with just one win, they are set to host a Brentford side who are not a barnstorming outfit but one that can certainly pounce on a wounded opponent.
For me, Chelsea might just be that wounded side. They are going through the teething process under new manager Liam Rosenior, and with their three best players potentially restricted to limited minutes, the door is left ajar for Brentford to make some noise.
The Bees will still need to play some good football, because a side as talented as Chelsea at home is never an easy beat. With that being said, when looking at the value on offer in this match, who is to say the Bees cannot continue Chelsea’s treacherous run through the middle of the season come Sunday morning.
Best Same Game Multi
👇
We close out another week of Premier League action with yet another Same Game Multi bet on a match where we once again feel we can eke out some value. Once again, Liverpool take centre stage as they continue their rise up the Premier League standings, this time set to take on Burnley.
Based on the two sides and how I expect the game to play out, I think there will be plenty of possession and one-way traffic for Liverpool at home. That is why the first leg of this multi is Hugo Ekitike to find the back of the net. The French international has been the biggest revelation of Liverpool’s summer signings and is certainly no stranger to knocking one home.
Looking at the other striker in this match-up, Burnley have former Cobham graduate Armando Broja, who was once destined to be one of the best strikers in Europe before multiple knee injuries slowed his progress. Regardless, Broja is a powerful and direct forward who thrives on space on the counter-attack. For Burnley, he will likely be their main outlet and should get a couple of chances to fire off some shots.
Wrapping this one up in familiar fashion, I have this game going over 2.5 total goals. In all honesty, with Burnley’s defence, I could see Liverpool reaching that number themselves, but given Liverpool have been a little spotty at times, maybe Burnley can add to the scoreline as well.
- Hugo Ekitike To Score @ $1.65
- Armando Broja 1+ Shots @ $1.42
- Over 2.5 Total Goals @ $1.55
