The Champions League is back in action this week, with a full slate of football from wire to wire.
We will no doubt still have our weekly EPL tips, but why not dive straight into the action from the best that Europe has to offer while finding value along the way.

Now I know these are not crazy high odds for this one, but I have a feeling that the deeper we get into the week, the more they might start to fall. In this matchup, we take a trip to Paris as the biggest club in France, PSG, host Newcastle in the eighth matchweek of this season’s Champions League.
For PSG, they continue to be one of the best teams in Europe after a season where they won just about every trophy available. For Newcastle, after finding a bit of league form, they come into this one off a disappointing loss to Aston Villa at home.
Regardless of form though, PSG would always enter this one as favourites, especially with Newcastle having to make the trip to face them. PSG have so much talent all over the park that, generally speaking, it can be overwhelming for the majority of teams, and I think that could be the case this week for Newcastle, as I am not quite sure they have what it takes to upset the French super club at home.

This week, Bayern Munich travel to play PSV in the last round of the Champions League group stage, with a chance to qualify as the top side. For this bet, the hope is that Vincent Kompany is willing to field a strong team, which would feature second top goal scorer Harry Kane up front.
The English marksman has scored seven goals in just under 600 Champions League minutes this season and should like this matchup. PSV have been a side that leaks goals, and if we know anything about Bayern, they tend to pour on the goals against lesser sides. With that in mind, it would not be a surprise to see Kane either score or create a goal for a teammate.

Perhaps the highest-profile clash of the round, Chelsea will travel to the beautiful south of Italy to take on Napoli. For the London side, they are in need of a big result to potentially avoid some of the super clubs in the first round of knockout football.
Napoli, on the other hand, have been a very disappointing side given their club’s history, sitting 25th in the Champions League table and looking destined for the Europa League. Regardless, they will look to leave a mark on this tournament in week 8, where they could spoil the party for Chelsea.
When looking at the two sides, while Chelsea appear the better team on form, as Liam Rosenior has been able to secure wins, however they have no doubt lacked consistency in their performances. For Napoli at home, that might be just enough of an opportunity to claim a home victory to close out the Champions League group stage.

Dortmund vs Inter Milan is a great game in terms of club pedigree, with one of Germany’s biggest sides set to host one of Italy’s major football clubs. This season, both teams have been decent, which has left them right on the edge of knockout football, making this a very important showdown.
Looking at the Same Game Multi for this one, I wanted to start with a goalscorer, and for me the most likely is Dortmund’s lead striker, Serhou Guirassy. The 29 year old is a model professional striker, and his style of play translates across the world. With Dortmund needing a win and playing in front of the Yellow Wall, seeing Guirassy find the back of the net wouldn’t be a surprise.
Moving on to the total goals market, I still feel like a couple of players could score, but I wouldn’t expect this to be a goal fest. These are two decent defensive sides, which makes me think under 3.5 goals could make sense.
To close this one out, I think Dortmund will be keen to redeem themselves after losing to Tottenham in the fashion they did last week. This time, in a game with plenty on the line and with one of the best atmospheres in European football behind them, I think they can get some kind of result come Thursday.

- Under 3.5 Total Goals @ $1.44
