Things couldn’t be any worse for Nix as they fell to a 1-0 loss at home to Macarthur last week.
They’re back at home once again, but this time face a much tougher team in Adelaide. Unless something drastic has changed, I don’t have high hopes for the Capitals team.
If you can get Adelaide at even money or better, I’d take that.
Auckland would’ve wanted more than a draw, of course, against Brisbane at home last week, but they have struggled to put the ball in the back of the net to start this season.
They’re second on the ladder but have only scored six goals all season. All six of those goals have come in the first 45.
Auckland, out to make right on last week’s result, should come out of the gates hot and pepper the Newcastle goal with plenty of shots.
