Has put in two huge efforts so far this campaign against the race bias. His sectionals have been superb and from a good draw on Sunday maps to get a far better run this time. If he can produce something similar to what he’s been doing he can easily win this. Opening odds $4.20.

Looks excellent each way value here at $8 and $2.15 in the small field. Although unplaced in both trials this campaign, she has gone to the line with an awful lot more to offer. Yet to win fresh up but previously her first up runs have been over sprint trips. Kicks off at 1600 metres here, on a track she loves, and gets her preferred wet ground. Can run a cheeky race.

Winner at this course last season in what has proven to be a fantastic form race with Group 1 and Group 2 horses finishing behind her. Hasn’t been seen at the races since but judging by the way she has trialled she has lost none of that talent. Prefer if not too wet but her class will see her through.
