From an entertainment perspective, The Rugby Championship got off to a great start with two cracking games.
There weren’t many who backed the Aussies to get the job done, but they were well rewarded. Can they do it again in Cape Town?
Let’s get into our two games this Sunday 👇
The Wallabies shocked the rugby world last weekend after scoring 38 unanswered points at Ellis Park to come back from 22 points down. That is UNHEARD OF!
They may have poked the bear, though, and the Springboks’ head coach made himself very clear that what they saw last weekend was not good enough.
I have no doubt the Springboks will come out firing, but the Wallabies will be just as hungry to do the double over the World Champions.
Rassie Erasmus has made a handful of changes for the second test, 10 in total. I have the feeling that this side might be a bit tougher for the Australians.
Best Bet: South Africa1-12 | $3.10
The Aussies will still be on a high after last week’s effort but as I said earlier, I reckon they’ve poked the bear.
A fresh line-up for the Boks, and they’ll be eager to right their wrongs. Handre Pollard comes back in at five-eight and will command the game, but can they get enough juice going without their captain Siya Kolisi?
The Aussies will stay in this, but I can’t see the Boks losing two on home soil.
Next Best: Canan Moodie / Cheslin Kolbe 2+ Tries Combined | $2.20
The South African wingers will be flying in Cape Town. Both of these players make their return and are both very capable of scoring a double each.
Kolbe is the best winger in the world and the South Africans will likely go hard through the middle and then spin it wide for the boys to add the finishing touches.

A couple of milestones in Buenos Aires: it’s Codie Taylor’s 100th game, and Simon Parker gets his debut.
Other than Parker, the other changes come on the bench with Sititi, Williams, Josh Lord and midfielder Quinn Tupaea have joined the 23.
You’d expect to see Razor’s side tighten up in a few areas and look to keep their structure more than last weekend.
The Pumas looked to be right in the game for periods in Córdoba, but there was really no pressure on the New Zealand side in the second half.
I’m expecting a similar result to last weekend, when New Zealand aired the ball out, Argentina had no answers… I’m thinking wingers to score! But also, how many times has a hooker scored first in a big-time Test Match! We have a betcha boost on Codie Taylor to score first in his hundredth paying $12, it’s worth a look, isn’t it?
Best Bet: New Zealand Over 33.5 Total Points | $1.85
New Zealand have cleared this total in five of the last six times they’ve played the Pumas. The only blemish was when they lost in Wellington last year, 30-38.
There are try scorers right across the park and after scoring 41 last week, they should be able to crack this line again.
Next Best: Sevu Reece / Will Jordan 2+ Tries Combined | $2.30
Sevu Reece had the double last weekend and made it look easy. Will Jordan, didn’t score but still managed to look like one of the best players on the park, if he’s not scoring he’s setting them up.
The New Zealand side would’ve gained a lot of confidence from that first game in Córdoba and I think we’ll be seeing a few tries come Sunday morning.
You don’t see too many games where Will Jordan doesn’t score back him to bounce back and find the chalk.
