How good?! We’re just over a week away from ripping into spring carnival racing when we head back to the Big E for the Proisir Plate.
This week, we’ll share our best bet, a value play, and one to watch for Saturday’s HS Dyke Wanganui Guineas.
Let’s trot!
The progressive filly is looking to make it three Listed wins on the trot, her most recent by ¾ of a length with a smart run up the rail on a Heavy 10 over 1200m. This will be her biggest test to date, facing other black type performers, but she ticks all the boxes with proven heavy-track and distance form. Currently paying $4.80 & $2.60.
Last season’s Karaka Million 2YO favourite resumed in style, winning first-up at Taupō on a Heavy 10, letting down strongly in a small field. Brings the same heavy track and distance credentials here. Paying $8 & $2.60.
Impressive in her first two starts before underperforming in the Manawatu Sires’ Produce (G1), she bounced back with a trial win over rivals Country Salon and Daylight Robbery. Definitely one to follow into the spring. Paying $4.80 / $1.90.
Win: 9. Platinum Diamond @ $4.60
Top 4: 11. War Princess @ $1.55
Top 4: 1. To Bravery Born @ $2.10
Same Race Multi @ $25
