Curtsy (#7) used up early to get the front this track last time but stuck on gamely. Softer draw here and is good each way value at $8 and $2.35.
Jack Morrison (#1) is a four-time winner from five attempts on this track and unbeaten over the distance. Gets the 2kg claim and looks reasonable value at $3.20 to win again.
Penvose Lad (#3) finished close up in a strong race at Trentham. Looks hard to beat back in this company in what will surely be very testing conditions. Needs a positive ride to be put in a winning spot early around this circuit and it usually does tend towards suiting those up and in. Opening odds $2.35.
