El Arish (#2) used up from a wide gate to lead last start and stuck on gamely down in the slower inner in a race suited to those swooping down the outside. Similar sort of line up here and looks useful value at $9.50 and $3.30.
Turn It Up (#7) is resuming from a let up. Couldn’t have been more impressive bolting in in a recent trial on bad ground. Form in her first campaign was excellent in what has proven to be some nice form races. Looks well placed here.
Jesko (#6) was very impressive winning his steeplechase debut at Whanganui last month. Kept up to the mark with a recent flat trial win and, with the services of ace jumps jockey Shaun Fannin, looks a huge winning chance.
