Legarto looks the best of the day but can’t back at $1.55. Put her in all your multis. Jaarfi represents some value. Opened at $35 and $6 but the Top 4 looks the bet at $3.90. Despite what the formline says (it suggests she was one out one back), she was well back and made a long searching run out very wide in the Westbury Classic two starts back and then her sectionals were excellent in the Group 1 Otaki Classic last time at weight for age level. Tough race but have to search for some value.
Has looked very good in Sydney in recent starts. His work has been top notch since and looks the sort to eat up the 3200 metre journey. Very short at the moment so hopefully we will get more on the day.
Caulfield Guineas place getter who had no luck fresh up and then was huge after facing the breeze wide in the open behind Mr Brightside last start. Has a decent weight to carry but looks to have the class edge on his rivals here.
