2020/21 New Zealand Jockey Premiership winner Danielle Johnson, who now resides in Hong Kong, has provided us with her top three to follow at Ellerslie on Saturday 25 January. Check them out below 👇
Beat some talented open class gallopers fresh up which isn’t easy to do for a three-year-old. Drawn to dominate from his inside draw and will take some getting past. Opening price $3.10 and $1.55.
Decidedly unlucky in the Rich Hill when having no luck in the run home. Hopefully can jump and be a bit handier this time. If the best version of Orchestral shows up she will be winning but if she doesn’t, Mary Shan will be there to pounce. Looks great Top3 value at $2.50 and Top4 at $2.00.
Couldn’t get out to the best ground until too late in the Telegraph. Back to fillies and mares company here and has already been a Group 1 winner over 1400 metres second up. The inside draw is a spoil so should get every chance. Each way value $6.50 and $2.30
