2020/21 New Zealand Jockey Premiership winner Danielle Johnson, who now resides in Hong Kong, has provided us with her top three to follow at Te Aroha on Sunday 8 December. Check them out below 👇
Has opened up pretty short but his last start effort is too good to ignore. He came from a mile off them on this course and finished the race off very strongly just coming up short. This race looks a little easier and if he can possie up a closer should get a deserved victory. Opening price $2.15.
Scratched from a midweek meeting for this assignment. Wide draw not ideal but has trial form around impressive Rotorua winners Fosse and Cheaha. That form will be good enough to be hard to beat here. Opening price $4.40 and $1.85.
Has recorded excellent sectionals in all three runs to date. Extra distance will suit, and the good draw should only assist. This looks his race. Each way at $3.50 and $1.60.
