This looks a nice fresh up race for him. Weight drop + class drop = two ticks. He should be getting over top of this lot. A nice horse to follow for the Spring.
He was desperately unlucky on the first day of the Hawke’s Bay Spring Carnival and is still looking for a run. His soft draw maps for a lovely run. He’s a better horse than a R65 grade.
He has had no luck in his first two starts this prep. With Sam Weatherly in the saddle on Saturday, and the step up to the 1400 trip, I think he’s going under the radar at the odds. Each Way.
