Alpha Bravo is a strong contender in a competitive race. The lightly-raced colt finished second twice in Brisbane during his first campaign but struggled at Group 3 level. He’s had good trial runs leading up to his return, and with a good position behind the leaders, he has a solid chance.
Tyndrum Gold seems close to winning his first race in Australia. Annabel Neasham’s European import showed significant improvement in his third run, finishing strong in second place on the Poly track at the Sunshine Coast. His fitness is solid at this point in his preparation, and his mile record back in Europe is impressive.
Out Of Aces showed great potential during her first campaign with trainer Stuart Kendrick. She made a strong finish in her debut at Bathurst and then again closed well from far back at Rosehill. Having only raced on rain-affected tracks so far, a dry track after two solid trial runs could be crucial to her chances.
Miss Emma just needs some luck from a wide barrier to be competitive. The Chris Waller-trained mare had an impressive run two weeks ago, finishing strong on the outside after giving the field a head start. That was her first race back after a five-week break.
