Torlaah excels in first-up races, with two wins from three attempts. After winning on a synthetic track at Ballarat in July, he finished third at Pakenham a few weeks later. Now returning from a break and with a favorable inside gate, he’s a strong contender back on turf.
Rockabilly Rebel is in great form, finishing in the top three in all three races at this distance. She ran well at Bendigo after a four-week break, finishing second to War Drama with a strong finish from the outside. With a shorter break and in a slightly easier race, she has a good chance to win this time.
Boondocks is a proven performer over the mile and looks primed for his preferred distance in this third race back. Last time at Tatura, he finished a solid third despite a slow start. With the same weight (60.5kg) and a good position from a low gate, he’s set for a nice run just behind the leaders.
