Wyong Race 3
4 Weeping Woman
Race time:
Last week at Canterbury, Weeping Woman was pushed hard and ended up finishing third. The Lonhro daughter missed her chance for a hat-trick but should improve after stepping up from 1100m to 1250m on a dry track. She prefers wet conditions and is likely to get an easy lead, with the main competition for speed coming from the outside.
Wyong Race 4
9 Cohesive
Race time:

Cohesive looks like a strong contender for Edward Cummings. The lightly-raced mare has faced some tough wide draws this prep, but showed real improvement in her last start at Canterbury, finishing third after a strong chase over a slightly shorter distance. Now in her fifth run back from a spell, the 1200m distance should suit her better, and a favorable gate should allow her to settle nicely and come off the speed.

Wyong Race 5
8 Killer Kerr
Race time:

Killer Kerr seems like she may benefit from a longer distance. The mare by Shooting To Win finished a strong second over 1350m a couple of weeks ago, a solid effort given she had a wide run throughout. She’s performed well over a mile before and benefits from a 3kg claim. With a soft draw, she should settle just off the pace and have every chance to perform well.

Wyong Race 7
6 Etna Rosso
Tip of The Day
Race time:
Etna Rosso comes into the Cup with strong form. Chris Waller’s five-year-old is fit and in form, having powered home from far back to win over 1900m at Rosehill in his last start. Though this is his toughest race since competing in a Group 3 in Ireland as a four-year-old, he appears to be a talented stayer with the potential to build on that impressive recent win.
