The Rugby Championship 2024 Best Bets | Round 2

Round 1 of the Rugby Championship is in the books and it certainly delivered.

The World Champion Springboks once again showed how good they are in a 33-7 demolition of the Wallabies at a sold out Suncorp Stadium.

Meanwhile, across the ditch the Wellington curse continued with Argentina taking down the All Blacks 38-30 in a sensational display.

Round 2 action is set to deliver once more, as we deep dive into the two fixtures.

New Zealand 42 – 10 Argentina

The All Blacks head to their fortress in Auckland desperate for a response. The big changes see the return of Will Jordan on the wing alongside Rieko Ioane recalled at outside centre.

On the visitors front, they will be confident once again, no longer fear playing the All Blacks in New Zealand, and will be eager to turn up physically again this weekend.

New Zealand off a loss in Auckland is a scary prospect so expect the All Blacks to deliver a comeback, but no doubt Argentina will push them all the way.

Same Game Multi: SA Win, Len Ikitau Try, Total Points Over 47.5 @ $8.04

The Wallabies face a short turnaround after a disappointing performance and will need to improve. They have made significant changes to the starting lineup, including the experienced Nic White at halfback and the notable inclusion of Marika Koroibete on the wing

The Wallabies will need to show up physicality if they are any chance to compete with the world champions and that has been bolstered by prop Angus Bell returning to the starting line-up.

For the Boks, they will be looking for more of the same. The team appears well balanced with a diverse mix of experience and youth, including legendary campaigners Makazole Mapimpi and Lukhanyo Am coming into the fold.
